There are ten types of water coolers. Though these water coolers would look very similar if they were sitting next to each other, they would also be very different. The Energy Star Cooler While shopping for water coolers for the workplace, I was surprised to learn that a typical unit uses a lot more energy than a full size refrigerator. That is why I specified that the cooler model must have an Energy Star label so it would use much less energy. The Environmental Protection Agency requires that a product meet strict guidelines to achieve an Energy Star label, and the consumer can be assured the unit will offer substantial savings†¦show more content†¦The taste of coffee, hot and iced tea is much better than it was before. We are all saving money because nobody is buying bottled water anymore for work. I never knew our public water could taste so good. The Gym Cooler The gym where I work out finally installed a few floor model water coolers. This was a welcome addition, because I was tired of the hassle or lugging around personal water bottles. The buttons are on top of the cooler, so there is no bending over to wait for the water to come out. I do enough bending in my workout, and I just want to be lazy when getting a drink of water. It has a high flow device so it can fill a glass in half the time it takes other units to fill one. It has a stainless steel and plastic construction, and it has a nice slick modern look. The Floor Model Cooler I went shopping online for floor model water coolers that I wanted to set up in our family room. I found a nice one that would accept any 5 or 3 gallon bottle, so I ordered it immediately. The cooler arrive in a mere 3 days, and it was easy to unpack and assemble with no help. It has a nice look that fit in well with our sporty decor. It is very quiet to run and we never hear the compressor or any strange rattles like are common with other coolers. The child proof safety button for the hot water is appreciated because we have small children.
